After last year’s announcement of four new ships kinda messed up my nicely organised ship naming system I was at a loss as to how to nicely fit them in to any sort of new naming structure.
I had a lot of ideas, but as to which one to choose would depend on whether there were to be any new ships this year too.
Well! Now we know that there will be four more ships this year making eight new ships so far and you will all be overjoyed to know I have finally settled on a separate naming convention for these new vessels. Seeing as they utilise a new technology that works well with the new Super Cruise Overcharge Frame Shift Drive rather than having to frantically keep your poor old ship on course whilst also regularly firing out heatsinks and keeping a panicked eye on your fuel levels, I am going to do things differently.
Instead of having the album up first and the ship(s) following underneath with the names I had chosen from the tracks of that album, I am going to put up the ship and her name first, along with a loose review and then explain why she has been designated thus underneath.
Hopefully some of you, even if you consider yourself a seasoned Rush fan, might learn something new!
