Welcome to my little blog. Most people will be bored to tears already. I don’t blame you to be honest. Elite Dangerous isn’t exactly the most talked about game and Rush have never been the most popular band, at least, not in the media. If you’re a commander and never heard of the trio, you may be rather surprised as to how popular they actually are. Also, this is my first blog and because I’m a stupid old fart it’s taking me a long time to get to grips with the web building software. Please excuse me for the site being rather unpolished! Hopefully I’ll learn more as I go along and it may soon begin to look slightly better.
One thing you all must also realise is that I’m no expert on either Rush or Elite Dangerous. There are bound to be many mistakes here. I know a little bit, have researched a little bit, am learning new things all the time and, occasionally, I update pages when I discover something new or contrary to what was originally written. For example, for the longest time I still thought the title of the song “The Spirit of Radio” was actually “Spirit of the Radio”. A common mistake rather frowned upon by many Rush fans. I had to change the page, and take new pictures of the ship I had named after it. That’s the quality of information you can expect here, folks! All I’m trying to achieve is to express just how much I love the band and the game.
Hopefully this site will inspire new commanders and give them a good idea what they can do and help them choose a career path and the ships that will best help them realise this. I am also hoping that any Rush fans who are not yet Elite Dangerous players my be enthused to try out the game for themselves. You may be rather surprised as to just how much you will fall in love with it.
