Ok, now here we have it. Rush ended their first “era” with 2112, an album that sold them around the world. They ended their second era with this. Moving Pictures is simply one of the greatest albums of all time. It elevated Rush from prog rock masters to prog rock gods. Every track is a masterpiece. The precision, complexity and maturity of both the composition and performance is sublime. Once more, one of the tracks, Red Barchetta, was recorded in one take. If you have never heard Rush before, buy this album, listen to it again and again and again. You will never forgive yourself if you don’t.

Krait Phantom

Now we have the Kraits! Probably my two favourite ships in the game. At least so far! The Limelight here is a Krait Phantom. My very favourite! Simply the greatest exploration vessel ever developed. Graceful, fast, huge jump range, plenty of slots, the only thing she lacks is a fighter bay for those canyon runs on distant moons. This time around I have equipped her as a dedicated explorer, rather than the bubble run around ratship I have on PC. She is an absolute delight to fly!

Krait Mk II

The Krait Mk II! While not quite my favourite ship it is probably the best ship in the game. It can do, and excel at almost anything. Jump range is decent, although not on a par with it’s sister the Phantom but it can equip a fighter bay. Decent cargo storage for a medium ship although not quite up there with the Python. But I have outfitted the Tom Sawyer as a fighter. Three large fully G5 engineered multicannons on top. Two medium G3 engineered beam lasers underneath, set to transfer heat from the Tom Sawyer to her victim. I have had more fun than ever in combat with this vessel than any other! At least, so far. There are a lot more combat builds to come!
